The PsyTeachR team was selected for a £1000 College Team Teaching Excellence Award. The team consists of School of Psychology members Heather Cleland Woods, Helena Paterson and Niamh Stack, and cSCAN members Dale Barr, Phil McAleer and Lisa DeBruine. The panel praised the Teaching Reproducible Psychology with R workshop, co-creation of materials with students, and online approaches. You can see some of these materials at the team website.
Congratulations to PhD student Vanessa Fasolt and co-authors from the Face Research Lab for winning the Best Poster Prize at the European Human Behaviour and Evolution Association in Pècs, Hungary.
Prof Benedict Jones will be giving the keynote talk at the Brazilian Meeting on Evolution of Human Behavior at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte in Natal, Brazil in March 14 – 16, 2018. He will be speaking about hormonal regulation of mating strategies.
